If the device is destroyed, and you replace it, you get to pay another $50 for the license to manage it. ![]() Google does not have competition for its device management system of chromebooks, and they charge a $50 "lifetime" fee per device. There actually are a lot of options, and I have seen the flack from others about how Apple should have their own solution, but I prefer the 3rd party model (albeit with deeper tie-ins to the system) because it offers compeititon. If you choose not to do MDM, which is still possible on the Mac platform, you can use Munki to do package installs. With MDM, depending on the provider, you can remotely install packages. Obviously, as others have stated, the future (the present, really) is MDM. ![]()
